As Amira Hass wrote yesterday in Haaretz," Palestinian are fighting for their lives, Israel is fighting for the occupation".
That is why Israel can't win that fight, occupation can't last, neither colonies nor segregation. They have stolen the lands, the rights, the freedom but as hard as they tried they could never stole the mind, the hearts, the identity, the culture and the courage of its people.
The third intifada is on its way; it should be inspired and strengthened by the lessons and experiences of the past two intifadas and of the struggle against apartheid. Palestinian society has the power and the opportunity to create new methods and means of struggle different than those used in the second intifada. A new peaceful and popular uprising that should avoid and refuse violent confrontation with Israel and impose it's own rules of the game.
